Selectboard questions $15,000 tree-removal invoice that may be outside scope

Board members discussed state policy on timber ownership (speaker 7 said homeowners are entitled to timber under state policy) and whether the work should have been identified by the project engineer during ditching/excavation planning. The board agreed to contact Dylan and the engineer, and to not approve any payment above procurement limits without clarification. "If it's more than $5,000, we have to put it out to bid," the Chair reminded the meeting.
