Baxter Springs swears in council members; mayor thanks departing member

Near the end of the Jan. 14 meeting Mayor Abbott publicly thanked Council member Susan Jones for her dedicated service to the City of Baxter Springs. Following that recognition the council conducted a swearing-in for Don Schroedle (Ward 1), Casi Shaw (Ward 2), Nathan Turner (Ward 3) and Jax Brumback (Ward 4).
After the swearing-in the council voted to adjourn the meeting by unanimous motion. The minutes list the newly sworn members by ward and record the adjournment action.
