Councilmember Tony Fankhauser informed the council that Jack's Pool and Lawn told staff the pool filters have not been changed for seven or eight years and that replacement must be completed by May 1. Tony said Jack's Pool and Lawn indicated they could carry out the work.
No formal funding motion was recorded at the meeting; the council was notified of the maintenance need and a deadline for completion. Staff or the pool board should follow up to clarify costs, scheduling and whether a purchase order or budget amendment will be required.
