Board approves personnel actions and votes to convene closed session under Virginia Code

Miss Break presented the personnel action items and asked the board to omit line 14 (to be discussed in closed session). A motion was made to approve the personnel actions omitting lines 11 and 14, the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. "As always, if you would like to exclude any action by number, uh please do so and we can discuss any questions or concerns that you have in closed session as well," Miss Break said.

Later in the meeting Board member Ward moved that the board convene a closed session to discuss assignment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries and/or resignation of specific schoolboard employees pursuant to Virginia Code as stated in the record and to receive legal advice regarding particular legal matters including personnel, governance, student and contract matters.
