Stewart Draft High marching band honored after back-to-back Class 1A state championships

"Band camp is 80 hours split across two and a half weeks...Monday, Tuesday and Thursday rehearsals each week total eight hours...the performance of the show includes over 1,000 beats of movement and music," Falber said as he described the time commitment behind consecutive state titles.
Student leaders said the experience shaped leadership and teamwork. Ryder Thally, a senior and drum major, said, "I'm so proud of all these people behind me and our directors and our supporters in our school and we wouldn't be able to do it without them." The board applauded the students and directed staff to pass the board's congratulations to the program and families.
