Mayor Greg Harlan and Maintenance Director Ramon Lujan reviewed staff reports; Ramon presented bids for concrete work at the pool and a park sign. On a motion by Allen Hisken, seconded by Dave Armstrong, the council approved $3,950 to Munoz Concrete to perform the pool and park concrete work.
The council recessed twice into executive session under K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(1) to discuss non-elected personnel. After returning to open session, the council approved hiring Skyler Stinnett and Blake Wiles as part-time seasonal employees at $15 per hour and approved a $3-per-hour raise for Brandon Solomon retroactive to March 2, 2026; all personnel votes passed unanimously.
