Oneida CJCC considers Hybrid Treatment Court as 2027 TAD grant pre-application is submitted

Members of the Oneida County CJCC Diversion/OWI Sub-Committee discussed pursuing a Hybrid Treatment Court that could manage both substance-use and OWI cases, but no final structure was decided. The committee reported a pre-application for a 2027 Treatment Alternatives and Diversion (TAD) grant was submitted to support continuation of Diversion services and to stand up a Hybrid Treatment Court if the award is made.
Ms. Beth Hoerchler said she will request match funding from County Board-controlled opioid dollars if the grant is awarded. Committee members emphasized that the Hybrid Court’s final structure, staffing and budget implications will be determined only after grant award and further CJCC direction; they noted the CJCC and county board will need to commit to any local match requirements.
