County approves generator maintenance, fire-protection and courthouse HVAC maintenance contracts

The commissioners approved a maintenance contract with W.W. Williams to service generators at the jail, ambulance building and health department at a total cost of $5,229.00 per year. Commissioner Todd Ewen moved to approve W.W. Williams and Commissioner Rick Roberts seconded; the motion passed.
Separately, the board accepted a five-year Johnson Controls contract for fire protection at the EMS building, a contract presented as costing $2,196.37 over five years, and approved a Walker Mechanical maintenance agreement to service all outside and inside HVAC units for the courthouse at $7,000 per year. Both Johnson Controls and Walker Mechanical contracts were presented, moved and recorded as approved in the minutes.
