"If you look at cancer failures, vast majority of patients will have cancer failure at the surgical site," the presenter said, emphasizing the clinical rationale for the device.
Staff noted the voucher funding is intended to refine the seed-clip component and move the product toward clinical testing; the applicant CEO (Greg Mercurio) and team were present to answer questions. The board approved the voucher by voice vote.
