Separately, council approved a $7,573.66 purchase of sewer equipment from Joplin Supply (other bid: Star Mechanical at $12,842.88) and a $9,262 contract with Mido Diving for a full-scale dive and cleaning inspection of the COB and the water tower, to be paid from water contractual services. Council also authorized staff to take bids for a new water-plant generator.
