Athletics update and principal outlines MTSS timeline for district

In the AD report, Athletic Director Finkey said Giltner will host a volleyball triangular with Fillmore and Shelby because scrimmages are not allowed; he noted Harvard’s athlete numbers were similar to Giltner’s and that Egan Co. will begin gym floor resurfacing on Wednesday, July 22.
Principal Pogue described attending an MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meeting in March and explained how the MTSS flow and process would work for Giltner. She said set-up would occur during the 2026–27 school year, allowing district implementation in 2027–28, and that the system is intended to improve communication among staff, parents and students.
