The Belle Plaine City Council on Wednesday approved APAC Pay Application 14 (Bid Package 2) for $195,071.58 and authorized payment of Invoice #146544 from Wilson & Co. for $16,764.13. Rose Mary, representing Ranson, presented the pay application and related invoices to the council.
Rose Mary told the council the city "has still not heard from the KS Water Office about the 1.5 million we asked for," and noted that KDHE sent a letter on Feb. 27 regarding preapplications. The council asked Ranson to submit a KDHE pre-application; the general consensus among council members was to proceed.
The motion to approve the APAC pay app and the Wilson & Co. invoice was made by Council Member Allen Hisken, seconded by Council Member Dave Armstrong, and carried by unanimous vote (Armstrong, Hisken, McGinnis, Nolan, Joy). Officials did not specify a deadline for KDHE’s response in the minutes.
