To support growing middle school choir enrollment, the board approved creating a music intern role through a partnership with Gustavus Adolphus College; the position carries an $800-per-semester stipend and will be awarded by application to a GAC Music Education student. The motion to approve was made by Drew Dixon and seconded by Ken Rossow and carried unanimously.
The board also approved a three-year renewal with Adam’s Mechanical to provide HVAC services from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, following a Business Committee recommendation. Finally, the board updated finance account signers to remove retiring Finance Accountant Bee Ong and to add newly hired Finance Accountant Melic Thomas on designated bank accounts to maintain continuous operations.
