Oak Hill seeks interlocal precautions amid annexation concerns

The body asked the city manager and staff to prepare a note on the issue and to move the interlocal discussion forward with Beacon Light and Maytown officials. "We need to get that interlocal agreement going to Beacon Light from Beacon Light to Maytown before we're gonna lose out," a Commissioner said, urging prompt action to secure boundaries and services.
The commission did not adopt a binding resolution at the meeting but directed staff to coordinate with the city manager and to place the interlocal matter on the agenda for follow-up.
