Members discuss demonstration projects and alternatives to reduce sewer costs

Committee members cautioned that alternatives are not a simple substitute for sewer infrastructure in all settings, and that betterments and construction costs remain material town obligations. Still, the chair and several members recommended pursuing coordinated outreach with the wastewater advisory committee and select board to explore pilot projects and funding options.
