The Humboldt City Board on Sept. 23 voted to reduce a special assessment levied against property owner Josh Cooper, approving Resolution R-09-23-2024 to charge $400 for mowing only.
According to the minutes, Cooper appeared to discuss a special assessment that originally combined mowing and a dumpster charge totaling $1,069.06. After discussion, President Ritchy Griepp moved and Amber Bailey-Froke seconded a motion to remove the dumpster charge and assess $400 for mowing; the board then approved the formal resolution on a subsequent motion by Griepp, seconded by Julian Gambs. Roll call votes were recorded as all present voting aye.
