Linn Valley council adopts ordinance to raise Evergy franchise fee from 2% to 5%

Councilmember Robert Supenbach moved to adopt the ordinance and the motion passed after a roll-call affirmation. The transcript records the motion as a formal adoption of Ordinance 266 "granting to Evergy Metro of Kansas... an electric franchise prescribing the terms thereof," and indicates the council repealed conflicting ordinances. The council did not record a dissenting vote in the transcript.
