At the June 16 meeting Dennis Rudzinski delivered Parks & Recreation operational figures, reporting "2443 members" overall and 2,846 pool members. He said weekday visits were down (360) while weekend visits were up (201), and that summer camps had started with ADC and Consortium programs scheduled to begin on June 22.
Dennis said Heather is training lifeguards this week. The board discussed overflow parking—asking whether adjacent empty lots could be used with wood chips—and Greg Waks suggested raising the question at the next Board of Supervisors meeting. In the short term Dennis said staff would use driveways during busy periods.
