President Sam Eastlick opened the Humboldt Natural Gas Board meeting Sept. 16, 2024, at 6:34 p.m. at the Humboldt Community Center. Eugene Betz, Gas Utility Manager, told the board that the new rates pricing had been implemented and appeared on customer bills beginning with July statements.
The board reviewed current rates and billing information but did not take a formal vote or adopt specific rate changes during the session. A motion to adopt the meeting agenda was made by Eastlick and seconded by Ashley Clarke; the board recorded "all ayes" and carried the motion. The minutes from Aug. 19, 2024, were tabled until the next meeting.
