Humboldt board approves raises for multiple staff following executive session

Pursuant to SDCL 1‑25‑2 the Humboldt City Board moved into executive session at 7:28 p.m. on Dec. 23 to discuss salary actions and reconvened at 8:02 p.m. The minutes show the board unanimously approved personnel changes: a $1.00 hourly raise and adding 10 hours to the office assistant position; and 6% raises for the Natural Gas Manager, the Utility Manager and the Finance Officer.
Each motion is recorded as passing by roll call; the minutes do not disclose individual salary amounts beyond the $1.00 figure for the office assistant or provide effective dates beyond the meeting. The Finance Officer is listed in attendance and will process the approved changes.
