The Humboldt City Board approved a driveway permit for Siemonsma Properties on HWY 38 on Oct. 14. President Ritchy Griepp made the motion to approve the driveway permit and Kelly O'Gorman seconded; the minutes show a unanimous roll call in favor.
Separately, the board discussed a DOT approach application and voted to table that item until the next meeting so the city can contact the South Dakota Department of Transportation to clarify whether the approach should be treated as commercial or residential. The motion to table was made by Griepp and seconded by Theresa Muth; the board voted unanimously to defer action pending DOT guidance.
