The Linn Valley City Council scheduled a town hall for Oct. 19 at 10:30 a.m., immediately after the POA board meeting, to provide updates on the town's water and sewer projects. The Chair said the session will include an update from the engineering team and a question-and-answer period for both water and sewer work.
The Chair said easements for the projects are "about wrapped up" and that the council is "ready to move toward bid letting." Council members noted the state has the project drawings and estimated a roughly four'to'six week review before the materials are submitted to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for approval, after which the city can enter the bidding stage. The council also said the current water purchase agreement extends through 2026, keeping the city within its contractual timeline.
