District schedules July hearing on draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan

Engineer Heindell told the board a copy of the draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and the Subsequent Water Shortage Contingency Plan were provided in the packet for board review. He said the plan must be maintained as a statutory requirement for agencies that serve over 3,000 connections or 10,000 people and that local municipalities have been notified of the plan. The District will hold its public hearing on the plan at the July board meeting.
The board did not take action on the plan at the June meeting; the July hearing will provide formal opportunity for public comment and possible adoption of the plan or subsequent updates.
