City personnel Eugene Betz reported to the Humboldt Natural Gas Board that Mary Zanter of the state Public Utilities Commission performed an annual inspection on May 12 and that "everything was satisfactory," according to the minutes.
Betz also told the board that Terry Hanson from GTS was scheduled to perform the annual cathodic inspection on May 20. He reported that the new storage shed at the baseball shed is complete and said the utility's next project will be work on the park campground. The minutes do not include inspection findings beyond the PUC's overall satisfactory determination or further technical details about the upcoming cathodic inspection.
