Zoning Enforcement Officer George Martin read his report to the Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 8 and noted one permit that included a comment from the Fire Marshal and an outstanding complaint for which the town had sent a letter but had not received a reply.
Commissioner Doug Humes addressed earlier remarks about the town landfill, explaining that "the old landfill parts were closed" under a state-issued permit. His statement was offered to clarify prior public commentary; no formal action on the landfill was taken by the commission at the meeting.
