He described the revaluation process and reassured residents that reval changes assessments while the overall tax levy remains the same.
Board members asked procedural questions about priorities in enforcement and the officer said the town prioritizes severity and cooperation when deciding to escalate to formal court action. The board voted to unseal a section of prior nonpublic minutes related to zoning cases and noted the sheriff sale and upcoming bench trial dates for particular cases.
