Prairie County approves $1,530 bid for Milwaukee bridge labor

At the Nov. 26 meeting the Prairie County Board of Commissioners approved a contract labor bid from C45 contracting for repairs to the Milwaukee bridge. Commissioner Dennis Teske moved to accept the C45 contracting bid for $1,530.00; Commissioner Christine Keltner seconded and the motion passed "all in favor." The motion and vote were recorded in the meeting minutes.
Road Department Supervisor Todd Henry also told commissioners that an employee reported a suspended driver's license and that the department would discuss how to proceed with the county attorney. Henry provided the commissioners with the bids for the Milwaukee bridge work before the board voted to accept C45 contracting's proposal.
