North Canaan Board of Finance approves routine agenda items and accepts recent reports

The North Canaan Board of Finance convened Aug. 13 and approved its routine business, including the meeting agenda, previous minutes and recent financial and tax-collector reports. Chairman Doug Humes called the meeting to order at 7:24 p.m.; motions to approve the agenda, minutes and the two-month financial and tax reports were moved and seconded and each "motion carried."
The board also noted an auditor report with no updates and accepted a treasurer report that had been emailed to members. The meeting record shows Mr. B. Allyn moved to accept the treasurer report and Mr. C. Allyn seconded; the board carried the motion. The board will consider outstanding questions submitted by residents at a future meeting.
