Board honors student and staff with All Star Appreciation awards; welcomes incoming principal
Summary

The meeting opened with staff and student recognitions. Presenter (speaker 4) praised Cody Holland of Jay Shidler Elementary for consistent accountability, positive attitude and kindness, calling him a 'signing star' and inviting his family for a photo.
The board also honored Mrs. Bradley as the classified-staff All Star Appreciation recipient for years of service supporting specialized-program students and recognized Mrs. Nelson as the certified-staff All Star for classroom mentorship, family partnership and enthusiasm. In a separate recognition, staff member (speaker 3) introduced Taylor, the incoming principal of Falling South Elementary, who spoke briefly about his 18-year teaching and administrative background and his excitement to return to the district.
