Osmond adopts One- and Six-Year Street Plan; bids for 2026 asphalt project to be advertised

The council opened a public hearing on the One- and Six-Year Street Plan at 7:30 p.m. and closed it at 7:34 p.m. with no objections. Council moved to adopt Resolution 2025-5 accepting the street plan, and the mayor declared the resolution passed by roll call vote.
Clerk Brittney Timmerman said the city will publish a letting-for-bid ad for the one-year asphalt project this month (three weeks of advertising) and that sealed bids will be opened at the January 2026 meeting. The council accepted the plan as presented and authorized the advertising schedule to allow contractors time to prepare sealed bids.
