The City of Florence adopted an ordinance Nov. 4 to make technical corrections to its zoning ordinances. Community Development Director Joel Sims presented recommended technical edits, and City Attorney Bobby Lingold presented the ordinance for adoption.
Alderman Mason Herrin moved to adopt the ordinance; Alderman Brent Sistrunk seconded. The minutes record the roll-call vote as Alderman John Banks (Absent), Alderman Brian Grantham (Absent), Alderman Mason Herrin (Aye), Alderman Kyle Martin (Aye), and Alderman Brent Sistrunk (Aye). The motion carried and the ordinance was adopted.
