At its April 7 meeting the Owensville Board of Aldermen recorded the following formal actions: approval of the Winter Endowment investment with Truman Heartland (motion by Alderman Lahmeyer, seconded by Alderman Bohl); authorization for the City Administrator to work with the investment advisor on timing (motion by Alderman Kramme, seconded by Alderman Breeden); approval of the consent agenda (motion by Alderman Bohl, seconded by Alderman Kramme); declaration of the 2016 Chevrolet 2500 as surplus (motion by Alderman Bohl, seconded by Alderman Lahmeyer); and authorization for the City Administrator to decline street closures for events under 100 (motion by Alderman Breeden, seconded by Alderman Bohl). All motions were recorded as "carried without dissent."
The meeting also included departmental reports (marshal, fire, code enforcement, public works, parks), a water/wastewater bond cost overview by the City Engineer, and routine administrative items such as MML conference registration. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
