Parks & Recreation Director Angela Lairmore told the board she found padlocks the department no longer needs and proposed selling them at the Farmers Market rather than accepting sealed bids. She also requested that four basket-locker units (each unit contains 18 baskets) be declared surplus. "I found pad locks and would like to surplus them at the Farmers Market," Lairmore said.
A motion to declare the four basket lockers surplus and offer them at sealed bids until April 3, 2025 passed on a motion by Alderman Bohl and a second from Alderman Lahmeyer, with the record noting the motion carried without dissent. The Board reserved the right to refuse any and all bids as part of the sale process.
