Board defers action on Provost & Pritchard consultant agreement pending review

Provost & Pritchard presented an updated Consultant Service Agreement (CSA) for ongoing engineering services for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. District Engineer Maija Madec told the board the agreement is largely the same as the prior 2024 CSA but that staff did not yet verify whether earlier negotiated changes were reincorporated.
District Counsel Chad Lew asked whether previously agreed changes had been reinserted into the new draft and the board decided Maija would review the terms and bring the agreement back for consideration at the next board meeting. No contract was executed at the June 8 meeting; the board deferred formal approval pending the engineer's review.
