Florence authorizes Eagle Post Road overlay agreement, signs stop-work order for drilling contractor

At the recommendation of City Engineer Tim Parker, the Florence Mayor and Board authorized and directed Mayor Gunn to sign the Eagle Post Road Overlay Supplemental Agreement 01, Project No. STP-7073-00(001). The motion carried by unanimous vote.
Also on the engineer's recommendation the council authorized Mayor Gunn to sign a stop-work order for Thompson Brothers Drilling, Inc., effective July 23, 2025. Both items were presented as engineer-recommended actions and were approved without recorded opposition in the minutes.
