Florence board directs engineering on red-light repairs, approves claims docket and prior minutes

At its June 17 meeting the Florence board authorized Engineering services to work with the City Attorney and MSI, Inc. on necessary repairs at the downtown red-light project. The motion was made by Alderman Trey Gunn, seconded by Alderman John Helms and passed unanimously.
The board also approved the mid-month claims docket (motion by Alderman John Helms, seconded by Alderman Trey Gunn) and approved the minutes of June 10, 2025 (motion by Alderman Mason Herrin, seconded by Alderman Brian Grantham). Mayor Morris adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m., and City Clerk Linda Wigley attested to the minutes.
