Residents press Port LaBelle board over potholes, greenbelt dumping and private roads; district staff outline reporting steps

Supervisor Nancy Imhoff asked whether the district’s line of credit could be used for road projects after receiving complaints about potholes on Sandalwood Road in Unit 9; staff said the road appears to be private after the HOA dissolved and that complaints should be directed to Hendry County.
Resident Ms. Made asked about a district road project on Castle Circle; Kennington-Korf said the project is on hold while staff re-evaluate drainage after field modifications. Field Supervisor Ryan Berden documents vehicles found on greenbelts, photographs violations and sends documentation to law enforcement and county authorities. Kennington-Korf said Berden "takes photographs and sends an email with documentation to all law enforcement, code enforcement and county." Chairman Martinez said the district will post website instructions on how residents should report issues.
