Public Works begins park repairs; restroom-door replacements proposed for three parks

Public Works Director Mr. Wargo reported that resurfacing of tennis courts, painting of restrooms, and staining of the pavilion at Kay and Ayres Davis Lighthouse Park have begun. Staff are also gathering proposals to replace restroom doors in Ponce Preserve Park, Timucuan Oaks Park, and Kay and Ayres Davis Lighthouse Park.
Board member Mr. Shaffer questioned whether fiberglass doors would provide greater longevity in the coastal environment; staff did not decide on specific materials at the meeting and said proposals are being collected for later review.
