"We could spend some of the money to truly do an effort to try to get the ratio up," S6 said, advocating pilot incentives such as restaurant vouchers.
Members also discussed timing and allowed uses. Staff noted outreach for the comp plan runs through December 2026 and said the grant aligns with that schedule. Several members recommended reserving part of the grant for a small, polished deliverable — a short visual vignette or packet that demonstrates what plan outcomes might look like to residents.
