Engineer: Phase IV sewer near completion; Route 20 preconstruction set for Nov. 14

Engineer Ryan Holcomb briefed the council on multiple public-works projects. "Line work is complete," he reported for the Phase IV sewer project, adding that the contractor has about two weeks of concrete and sidewalk work remaining before paving and that a change order for concrete steps, stored materials and quantity adjustments will be presented at the next meeting.
Holcomb also said Phase V sewer work is on hold. For the Route 20 Corridor project, he noted a bid opening occurred on Oct. 9, 2024 and that a preconstruction conference is scheduled for Nov. 14, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Town Hall; he said he will present a recommendation of award at the next meeting. On AMD projects, Phase I closeout is underway with a forthcoming Change Order 3 and 1-2 remaining pay applications, and Phase II NEPA documents were resubmitted to AML for final approval before forwarding to OSM.
