Selectboard hears department updates on audits, grants and recreation projects

At the Department Head Roundtable, Town Clerk and Treasurer Sharon Lucia said election activity is ongoing, the 2024 audit is complete and the 2025 audit is set to begin.
Grant Administrator Freeda Powers said final FEMA paybacks have been received, Bristol is one of four towns awarded a Highway Team Safety Equipment grant, and about 15 grants remain open with six approaching close dates. Recreation Director Meridith McFarland reported Holley Hall renovation preparation continues, the Thompson office is nearly ready, a storage container was arriving Thursday, the Recreation Department will be fully out of Holley Hall by March 6, and "All camps are full, and there are many names on the wait list; more camps will be added if possible." Planning & Zoning Administrator AZ Larsen said the DRB has been active, zoning application updates are nearly complete, a new parcel viewer is live on the Town website, and review of historic surveys indicates Harvey Road is a Town Highway.
