District approves feasibility report, clearing way for $695,000 special‑assessment bonds for Peralta Road

Chairperson Wilson presided over a public hearing on July 21, 2026, and the Superstition Vista Community Facilities District No. 1 board unanimously approved Resolution SBCFD1‑2026‑008, which accepts a feasibility report and declares the board’s intention regarding issuance of special‑assessment revenue bonds for a Peralta Road segment.

Janelle Gold of Hilltop Securities told the board the proposed financing covers a segment of the Peralta Road project and would place an assessment on 139 lots at $5,000 per lot. "The bonds would be $695,000," Gold said, describing the calculation as 139 lots times $5,000 per lot. She also told the board the construction on the project is complete and that the district engineer concluded the assessed lots will receive a public benefit equal to or greater than the amount of the assessments.

Board member Cross moved the resolution as read into the record; the motion was seconded and placed for roll‑call vote. The clerk recorded each member voting "Yes" and announced the motion passed unanimously. The action authorizes the district to proceed with the formal assessment process and indicates the board's intent to move toward issuing the bonds; it does not itself issue bond debt at the meeting.

The resolution and the feasibility report are intended to advance financing for public infrastructure work on Peralta Road and to formalize the assessment diagram and engineer findings that support the proposed assessments. No dissenting votes or public comments opposing the assessment were recorded during the hearing.
