Bruce Mello moved to hold a special Selectboard meeting to approve use of FEMA funds to pay for materials for a proposed three‑bay equipment shed (materials estimated at $24,000) and a concrete floor for the existing town shed (materials estimated at $11,000), with $8,000 already available in a designated fund. Chair Mike DeSocio amended the motion to call a Town Meeting rather than a Selectboard special meeting. After further discussion, Doug Wellman moved to table the Special Town Meeting discussion; the motion passed unanimously.
The board did not take final action on funding at this meeting; the item remains on a future agenda for additional consideration and public notice if a Town Meeting is to be scheduled.
