Selectboard names Brookline Meeting House and Round Schoolhouse committees, appoints planning commissioners

At its March 4 meeting the Town of Brookline Selectboard appointed volunteers to oversee projects at two local historic properties and refreshed the Planning Commission roster. The board named Jon Ballou, Francine Carr, Timothy Carr, and Julie Roach to the Brookline Meeting House (BMH) Committee and appointed Dot Maggio and Laurie Nau‑Martocci to the Round School House Committee.
The Selectboard also appointed Stan Noga, Leah Daly, and Mike DeSocio to the Planning Commission. Several other representative seats (including the DVFiber representative and some auditor and constable appointments) were tabled for future meetings.
Those committee appointments were approved by unanimous vote, according to the meeting minutes. The board recorded interest in clarifying decision-making structures for the Meeting House before authorizing non-emergency work.
