The Village of Three Oaks Parks and Recreation Board discussed a proposed concrete sidewalk for Carver Park at its July 7, 2025 meeting. Chair Ira Johnson and board member Brain Overley agreed to outline the proposed path with spray paint to show the exact footprint that had been discussed.
The board also discussed a proposed banner, put forward by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), to promote Music in the Park and the Farmer's Market. Mike Springer volunteered to attach the banner to a backboard for display on Carver Park's signboard. No formal vote was recorded for the banner or the sidewalk plan; the actions were recorded as board consensus and volunteer commitments.
Next steps: Johnson and Overley will mark the proposed sidewalk path for clearer review, and Springer will prepare to attach the DDA banner to the park signboard.
