The town treasurer reported several community and administrative items at the Sept. 24 meeting: a flu-shot clinic scheduled for Oct. 11, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; the Halloween/Fall Festival proceeding with 23 confirmed vendors and $2,250 in donations from area businesses, and a WV Outdoor donation covering billboard advertising.
The treasurer said they will attend continuing education on FOIA requests. Two Homeland Security grant applications remain in progress (one for license-plate readers and another for Michigan Avenue Park updates). The WV Public Service Commission issued notice that Nutter Fort needs a cybersecurity evaluation for water, sewage and billing systems; staff are arranging scheduling for that evaluation.
