Mike Springer reported a minor adjustment to the porta-potty placement in Watkins Park near Timber Town. Following that update, Joan Brown moved and Marlene Kramer supported a motion requesting the Village plant three plain shade trees in the Timber Town playground area, at a cost not to exceed $2,500. The motion passed.
Board members framed the plantings as a near-term investment to provide future shade for the playground; the motion included a cost cap but did not specify planting dates. The Village staff will coordinate procurement and planting under the approved cost limit.
