DDA outlines multi-year plan to enhance Chamberlain Path; board asks manager to convene review

Jim Dykas, representing the Downtown Development Authority, presented proposed enhancements to the Chamberlain Path and told the Parks & Recreation Board the DDA would identify the majority of the project’s cost and that funding and construction would likely take two to three years if approved.
Board members agreed the project requires more detailed review. Chair Ira Johnson asked Village Manager Dan Faulkner to convene a joint meeting of the Parks Board and the DDA to examine plans and funding options in greater detail. No formal vote on the project funding or design occurred at the June 2 meeting.
