The Dawson County Planning Commission on Sept. 16 recommended approval of a rezoning request (ZA 25-06) for a 2.5-acre parcel at 57 Harry Sosebee Rd., parcel 107 011. The commission voted 3-0 to forward the recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.
Jonathan White, representing True North Living, LLC, told the commission the applicant seeks to split the property “in order to build a second home” and that rezoning from RA (Residential Agricultural) to RS (Residential Suburban) would bring the parcel into compliance with the countyfuture land use plan.
No members of the public spoke for or against the rezoning. Commissioner Neil Hornsey moved to recommend approval, Commissioner Steve Sanvi seconded, and the motion carried 3-0. The transcript records no additional conditions or noted objections during the meeting.
