Tom Wagner, a member of the Town of Charleston Planning Commission, told the commission the Echo-Seymour Lakes Watershed Action Plan has been finalized and made public and that it identifies 24 specific projects in Charleston focused on erosion and water control.
Wagner said the plan highlights major projects on West Echo Lake Road to Morgan/Charleston Road and at the Fish and Wildlife access area. He also listed other priorities mentioned in the plan, including increasing a buffer in the Moulton Farm area and installing water bars on a driveway near the lake. Wagner said those efforts align with the town's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan goals and he was asked to provide the commission a copy of the LWAP report.
